Seth & Maribeth Moore

Maribeth and Seth met in college and after dating for a few years got married and moved to my home state of NH. They both grew up in families that loved and appreciated the outdoors. Seth was a desk jockey for MetLife for 13 years before being approved for a virtual office, at which point, he moved him and his family to Yaak MT in 2011. Slow internet proved to be the undoing of his job and despite generous relocation offers to various cities, he decided that this is where we wanted to stay and raise his boys. They chose to stay because, to them, the Yaak is the last, best place. Here, we can garden, forage, raise livestock and hunt. Here, more so than anywhere else, we feel connected to the land, participant in nature, rather than just be observers. Here, function trumps fashion. The outdoors trumps the indoors. Making do with what you have trumps materialism.

The Boys

Eli, Silas, and Josiah are the life of Overdale. You may see them doing their morning chores, fishing, or exploring the woods. They were raised in Yaak and are some of the most educating and skilled outdoorsman you will find anywhere.
